Welcome to the Kenosha Choral Arts Society

The Kenosha Choral Arts Society, formerly the Carthage Masterworks Chorale, has been sharing music with the Kenosha/Racine community and beyond since 2005. The Society has collaborated with the Racine Symphony Orchestra to present major works such as the Bach Magnificat, the Mozart Requiem, and the Faure Requiem. For the 2011 fall season, our group is proud to combine forces with Alan Heatherington, the Kenosha Symphony, and the Chicago Master Singers to present “The Many Moods of Christmas” on Sunday, December 18, 2011.

Our ensemble welcomes choral enthusiasts of all backgrounds and musical interests. Specific audition requirements can be found here.

We rehearse on Monday nights, from 6:30 to 9:00 pm, at the First United Methodist Church in Kenosha (919 60th Street, Kenosha, WI 53140-4098). For more information about our rehearsal venue, please see here.

“It is a great privilege to lead such a wonderful community of singers as the Kenosha Choral Arts Society! I am thrilled at the prospect of expanding the ranks and visibility of this fantastic group. The Society will continue to be an indelible part of the region’s vibrant musical landscape, and I have great hopes for furthering the cause of this enthusiastic gathering of talented musicians.”
